It's been brought to our attention by several readers that the scammers have expanded out from the Internet to more traditional ways of reaching people. We have reports of people receiving in the mail the same types of scams that we reproduce here on a regular basis. We have also heard that in some Eastern European countries the scammers have taken to calling people to inform them they have won some of the same lotteries we see here so often.

I have been contact saying they were Lotto/agents and that I have won. I replied to the e-mail just to say I received the e-mail.
I just received a second e-mail asking for my personal information on a blank form, this did not look correct, so I went on the net and looked up the National Lottery and thats how I arived at this site. Here are the e-mail address of the agents, b******@uknationalonlinewinnings.net
cra****@yhaoo.com
Anthony, Thanks for the post. We purposely do not publish the contact information for fear someone who reads little English will come on, miss the con in condrome and the meaning of scam and see the website as possible validation. some of the most vulnerable people to these sorts of scams are people with very little Web experience.
