Doubling the impact of Tamiflu

Declan Butler has an article on news @ nature.com: Wartime tactic doubles power of scarce bird-flu drug. The tactic is to use probenecid, a drug that prevents many other drugs from being taken out of the bloodstream by the kidneys. One of those drugs is Tamiflu, and the effect is to more than double the patient's exposure to the drug.
